By becoming a Knowisly expert, you agree to this Agreement together with the Knowisly Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, Cancellation Policy, Refund Policy, and other applicable Knowisly policies.
Independent Expert
Experts on Knowisly are independent service providers. Nothing in this Agreement creates an employment, partnership, agency, or joint-venture relationship between you and Knowisly.
You are responsible for the professional services you provide, including complying with any qualifications, licences, registrations, professional standards, and legal requirements applicable to your services.
Expert Profile
You must provide accurate and current information about yourself and the services you offer.
- Name and contact information
- Professional experience
- Qualifications and certifications
- Areas of expertise
- Profile photo and biography
- Services, pricing, and availability
You must not provide false, misleading, or fraudulent information. Knowisly may verify information or request supporting documents where reasonably required.

- Use reasonable care and skill appropriate to your area of expertise.
- Clearly communicate relevant limitations or conditions.

- Maintain any licence, registration, or qualification required for your services.
Knowisly provides technology and marketplace infrastructure and does not itself provide the professional service offered by an expert.
Pricing, Commission and Transaction Charges
Experts may set or manage the price of their services through the Knowisly platform, subject to applicable platform rules.
Knowisly may charge a commission, transaction charge, payment processing charge, or other applicable platform fee.
The current commission, transaction charges, and applicable deductions are displayed in the Expert Panel and may vary by service, payment method, or other applicable commercial terms.
The Expert Panel will show the applicable charges and the estimated amount payable to the expert where available.
Knowisly may update applicable commercial charges from time to time. Where required, Knowisly will provide appropriate notice before a material change takes effect.
Payments and Payouts
Customers may pay for services using payment methods supported by Knowisly.
Knowisly may deduct applicable amounts before paying the remaining balance to the expert, including:
- Knowisly commission
- Transaction or payment processing charges
- Approved refunds
- Chargebacks or payment reversals
- Applicable taxes or statutory deductions
- Other amounts expressly applicable to the transaction
The resulting amount will be paid according to the payout schedule and procedures displayed by Knowisly.
Knowisly may delay a payout where reasonably necessary to investigate a payment issue, fraud, dispute, chargeback, or policy violation.
Experts are responsible for providing accurate bank and tax information.
Taxes
Experts are responsible for their own tax obligations arising from their activities on Knowisly.
Where required by law, Knowisly may collect, deduct, withhold, or report applicable taxes or statutory amounts.
Experts must provide accurate tax information and documents reasonably required by Knowisly.
Availability and Calendar
Experts are responsible for maintaining accurate availability through the Knowisly calendar.
You should only make time slots available when you expect to be able to provide the service. Once a booking has been confirmed, you are expected to honour it.
If your availability changes, you should update your calendar promptly. Knowisly may take appropriate action where an expert repeatedly fails to honour confirmed bookings.
Cancellations and Rescheduling
Expert cancellations, customer cancellations, rescheduling, and related refunds are handled according to the Knowisly Cancellation Policy and Refund Policy.
Experts should make reasonable efforts to avoid cancelling confirmed bookings. If you need to cancel or reschedule a booking, you must use the process provided by Knowisly and communicate promptly.
Repeated cancellations, late cancellations, or no-shows may affect your account or ability to offer services through Knowisly.
Customer Communication
Experts may communicate with customers through communication methods made available or facilitated by Knowisly. This may include platform messaging, email, WhatsApp, telephone, video calls, or other supported channels.
Customer contact information must only be used for legitimate purposes connected with the customer's booking or service. You must not sell, disclose, or otherwise misuse customer information.
WhatsApp and Post-Booking Communication
Where Knowisly facilitates WhatsApp or other post-booking communication, experts agree to use customer contact information only for purposes related to the customer's service or booking.
Experts must not use Knowisly-provided customer information for unrelated or unsolicited marketing and must comply with applicable privacy, communication, and messaging requirements.
Direct Payments and Circumvention
Knowisly provides experts with access to customers through its marketplace. Experts must not deliberately move a Knowisly-originated booking or transaction outside Knowisly for the purpose of avoiding applicable Knowisly commission, transaction charges, or platform processes.
Knowisly may take appropriate action where it reasonably determines that an expert is deliberately attempting to circumvent the platform.

Customer Data and Confidentiality

These obligations continue after an expert stops using Knowisly where required by law or the nature of the information.
Expert Content
Experts retain ownership of content they independently own and provide to Knowisly. By submitting profile information, photographs, descriptions, videos, or other content, you grant Knowisly a non-exclusive licence to host, display, reproduce, format, and promote that content as reasonably necessary to operate and market the Knowisly platform.
